THE Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) has seized over 100kgs of illicit drugs in Southern, Western, Central and Copperbelt Provinces leading to the arrest of 24 suspects. Speaking during a press briefing, Monday, DEC Public Relations Officer Allan Tamba said the drugs were seized after a series of operations in the provinces. “The Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC), through its establishments in the Southern, Western, Central and Copperbelt Provinces has conducted a series of operations culminating in the seizure of significant quantities of illicit drugs and the arrest of notorious suppliers.
