Power Dynamos head coach Fordson Kambole has resigned from his position.
Power Dynamos lost the league opening match against newly promoted side Kansanshi Dynamos by a goal to nil.
Kambole who was appointed 4 months ago recently extended his contract to December with an option for renewal but it seems he has had a change of heart, choosing to step aside from his post.
“Power Dynamos Football Club would like to officially announce the resignation of Head Coach, Fordson Kabole from his position with immediate effect. The Club respects the decision taken by the Coach and accepts it, accordingly. Mr Kabole was appointed Head Coach with 6 games remaining into the end of the 2019 mini-league to serve up to 31st July 2019 and further re-appointed to head the team up to 31st December 2019. We would like to thank the Coach for the services rendered during this period and wish him success in his personal endeavours. The Club is confident that the development shall not alter its set objectives for this season as necessary steps will be taken to address this development.”
