M-Bet Zambia has introduced an online sports betting mechanism which can be done via an “M-Bet” application.

In a statement, M-Bet Zambia office manager Caristo Banda Kanyembo said the online sports betting platform was poised for growth as Zambians above the age of 18 were increasingly showing interest.

“The betting industry is growing in Zambia. We didn’t have this two years ago. We have also noticed that in Zambia, we only have shop betting companies. But we are in the digital age so we decided that provide a platform online where people can bet, and we have done just that. If you have internet, you can use your laptop, tablet or phone to access the service by downloading our app,” Kanyembo said.

He said winners could collect their earnings from Airtel or MTN money.

“All you need to do is download our “M-Bet” App and you have to have either an Airtel Money or MTN Money account to bet with us. Everything is done online and you can bet for as little as K2. When you win, you instantly get notification and you can visit either Airtel Money or MTN Money to collect the money won. This channel provides the safest and fastest way to bet. People can bet anywhere – even in the comfort of their homes. For big amounts, M-Bet personally hands over the money by cheque,” said Kanyembo.

“With only a 5 kwacha’s bet, Zambia’s Emmanuel Simpokolwe recently won K100,086 (subject to any taxes applicable) just by predicting 12 games right. So Zambians can place their bets anytime and anywhere on their favourite football matches using mobile technology. M-Bet Zambia is here to meet the demands of sports betting users with the best odds in the market, the fastest and most professional service. We are convenient, easy and we pay out on time every time.”
