THE National Pension Scheme Authority (NAPSA) has refuted reports that the pension fund has halted the payment of pre-retirement lumpsum benefits because it has run out of funds. Meanwhile, the authority has disclosed that so far, it has paid out a total of K3.9 billion to over 128,000 members since it commenced partial withdrawal payment on April 19, 2023.
