NATIONAL Union for Small Scale Farmers in Zambia (NUSFAZ) president Dr Frank Kayula says it’s too early for UPND officials to start tarnishing their party’s image and that of the President through their involvement in fertiliser scandals. On Wednesday, Eastern Province Commanding Officer Limpo Liywali disclosed that three people had been arrested in Kasenengwa District for alleged theft of 10 packs of fertiliser valued at K21,000. And Chief Mishoro said the three suspects, among them UPND Kasenengwa District Youth Chairperson only identified as Headman Chitona, were arrested after trying to transport fertiliser at night. Meanwhile, another Kasama UPND member Wise Lukwesa denied stealing 156 bags of D Compound and Urea fertiliser, saying he bought the commodity from stranded FISP beneficiaries...
