FINANCE Minister Dr Situmbeko Musokotwane says despite challenges in the economy, it is still better than what government inherited from the previous administration. And Dr Musokotwane says government is working towards stabilising the Kwacha so that it doesn’t depreciate any further. Commenting on the performance of the Kwacha which is now trading at around K24 against the dollar, Dr Musokotwane said 2023 had not been an easy year because of drought effects and the lingering issues around KCM and Mopani Copper Mines.
