CHIEF Government Spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa says the money which the state is awarding litigants is budgeted for, and therefore it is an absurdity to link it to the cost of living. Mweetwa argues that the money that has been spent on compensations thus far cannot mitigate the cost of living even if channeled towards that cause.
