THE country’s annual inflation for February 2024 has increased to 13.5 percent from 13.2 percent recorded in January. Speaking during the Monthly Bulletin briefing, Zambia Statistics Agency (ZamStats) Chief Statistician Chola Daka said the 0.3 percent increment was attributed to price movements of selected food and non-food items. “Annual inflation for February 2024 increased to 13.5 percent from 13.2 percent recorded in January, 2024. This means that on average, prices of goods and services increased by 13.5 percent between February 2023 and February 2024.
