POLICE say five criminals armed with matchets and a cutter have stolen cash money amounting to K38,000 and property valued at K48,800 from Pine View Guest House in Chipata District. Pine View Guest House is owned by Agriculture Minister Mtolo Phiri. Eastern Province Police Commanding Officer Limpo Liywalii says the incident, which was reported to Chipata Central Police Station by Rueben Mtolo Phiri (Jr), is believed to have occured on Saturday between 01:30 and 02:10 hours.
