GOVERNMENT says it will today hand over Mopani Copper Mines to International Resources Holding RSC Limited (IRH), an affiliated company of Abu Dhabi conglomerate International Holding Company. Mines and Minerals Development Minister Paul Kabuswe says IRH fulfilled all the requirements that government was looking for in an investor to run Mopani. And Special Assistant to the President for Economic, Investment and Development Affairs, Jito Kayumba, says the entry of IRH into Mopani marks the resumption and optimization of the mine.
