ZESCO says the 1000MW solar Power Purchase Agreement that it has signed with SkyPower Global won’t have an impact on the country’s electricity supply this year. In an interview, Zesco Spokesperson Matongo Maumbi said the agreement was a three-year phased project whose power would only be onboarded onto the national grid next year.
