THE Minerals Regulation Commission (MRC) has suspended underground operations at Mopani’s Mufulira mine site over safety non-compliance following recent fatal accidents. Recently, Mopani suspended all underground mining operations being conducted by Reliant Mining in Kitwe and Mufulira following fatal accidents in recent weeks.
