THE Lusaka Magistrates’ Court has restrained a Chinese national from continuing to beat and threatening to kill his lover, whom he lives and shares a child with. Magistrate Mbuywana Sinvula has also ordered Huang Yawen to vacate the house where the couple lives in Kalundu township, until such a period when the case would be concluded and judgement delivered. Magistrate Sinvula, however, advised the two to report back to the court should they decide to reconcile before the case could be disposed of so that she could issue an order.
