LUSAKA magistrate Irene Wishimanga yesterday gave PF’s Raphael Nakacinda a benefit of doubt and adjourned the case in which he is charged with defamation of the President, on grounds that he was unwell. The magistrate, however, advised the accused to stay at home and rest, further cautioning him that, “we should not hear you speaking anywhere after this”. This was after Nakacinda’s lawyer Nkula Botha applied for an adjournment, submitting that his client had an acute headache. In this matter, Nakacinda is facing one count of defamation of the President.
