AN investigative officer has narrated to the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court how former Professional Teachers Union of Zambia (PROTUZ) deputy general secretary Treegain Kansembe allegedly forged her grade 12 certificate which she used to enrol as a teacher. Mulenga Mulenga was testifying in a matter in which the PROTUZ president, general secretary and deputy general secretary are jointly charged for uttering false documents, among other charges. Vincent Kabimba Mwitumwa, Kangwa Musenga and Kansembe are facing seven counts of uttering false documents, obtaining pecuniary advantage by false pretences, aiding and abetting an offence and unlawful action or proceedings against a whistleblower.
