FINANCE and National Planning Minister Dr Situmbeko Musokotwane has sued Lumezi Independent MP Munir Zulu demanding damages for libel for allegedly issuing defamatory remarks against him and his Infrastructure counterpart Charles Milupi. Dr Musokotwane wants the Lusaka High Court to declare that Zulu’s remarks in which he alleged that he and Milupi received $250,000 each from a named firm are defamatory. In March this year, Dr Musokotwane wrote to Zulu seeking an apology over his remarks and payment of K50 million as compensation for damages, failure to which he would sue in the High Court.
