THE Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has dragged former Intercity PF cadre Francis Muchemwa to Court seeking an order that his properties, which are suspected to be proceeds of crime, should be forfeited to the State. The Commission has submitted to the Economic and Financial Crimes Court that Muchemwa’s assets outweigh what he realised from his legitimate known sources of income. ACC has also submitted that Muchemwa’s legitimate source of income amounted to K4,934,912, while the value of unexplained and suspected proceeds of crime was K7,234,824.
