A LUSAKA businessman has sued former president Edgar Lungu in the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court for allegedly failing to pay K336,000 for various campaign materials he purchased in 2016. Happy Mwaba Mwangata has asked the court to compel Lungu to pay the money owed to him. In an affidavit verifying debt, Mwangata stated that he supplied various campaign materials which included branded caps and wrist watches to Lungu.
