A 41-YEAR-OLD witchdoctor from Kabwe has been dragged to court for the alleged offence of murder. Particulars of the offence are that Kaampa Kalumbi, on dates unknown but between December 8 and 10, 2023, in Lusaka, did murder James Munachaka. It is alleged that Kalumbi spent the night at the deceased’s house after being called to administer herbs. It is further alleged that the accused administered traditional medicine to the deceased and another person, consisting of a mixture of tree barks soaked in water, with the aim of removing dirt from their stomachs to exorcise them of demon possessions.
