DEPUTY Inspector General of Police in charge of Operations Milner Muyambango has applied for leave in the Lusaka High Court to commence contempt of court proceedings against Citizens First president Harry Kalaba for commenting on an active court case. Muyambango’s application is premised on Kalaba’s alleged remarks accusing him of abusing his office by opting to arrest someone from whom he got a tractor on credit instead of settling the bill. This is in a matter in which Muyambango sued a Ndola man in the Lusaka High Court, demanding damages for defamation of character.
