ATTORNEY General Mulilo Kabesha has insistently told the South African High Court that Edgar Lungu’s family wants sole control over his mortal remains in order for them to secretly move it outside South Africa. He argues that the family never distanced themselves from this plan after the Court ordered the government to repatriate his remains. Kabesha adds that the body should be restored to the possession of the South African Police to enable them conclude the inquest, and thereafter be returned to Two Mountains.
