NATIONAL Health Insurance Management Authority (NHIMA) Director General Michael Njapau says the scheme currently has 5.8 million members from both the formal and informal sectors. And NHIMA Manager Membership and Contributions Michael Zimba disclosed that only about four million of the 11.8 million eligible Zambians above 18 years are currently registered as principal members. Speaking at a Media training workshop, Friday, Njapau said the scheme had grown and evolved adding that it was currently processing over 200,000 claims every month.
