THE Lusaka Magistrates’ Court has ordered Binwell Mpundu’s sureties to appear on September 17, 2026, to explain his whereabouts following his failure to appear in court. In this matter, the former Nkana Independent MP is facing one count of seditious practices, contrary to Section 57(1)(b), read together with Section 60(1)(i) of the Penal Code, Chapter 87 of the Laws of Zambia.
