THE Lusaka Magistrates’ Court has sentenced Henry Kasolo to seven years’ imprisonment with hard labor for trafficking and importing 73.9 kilograms of marijuana and corruption charges. Lusaka Resident Magistrate Webster Milumbe sentenced Kasolo to seven years’ imprisonment with hard labour on each of three counts, adding that the seven-year sentence will run concurrently. In the first count, Kasolo, jointly and together with other persons unknown trafficked 173.9 kilogrammes of marijuana, a herbal product of cannabis, without lawful authority. In the second count, he was jointly and together with other persons unknown charged for unlawfully importing 73.9 kg of marijuana.
