FORMER Ndola Central UPND MP Frank Tayali has told the Ndola High Court that violence during the 2026 general elections affected voter turnout and the number of votes he received in areas where the violence allegedly occurred. Tayali, who is challenging the election of Resolute Party (RP) candidate Emmanuel Mulenga, said polling stations where violence occurred recorded fewer votes in his favour compared to areas where voting took place peacefully. The matter came up for cross-examination before Ndola High Court Judge Mwamba Chanda yesterday.
