Zesco United have adjusted the kickoff time of today’s 2017 CAF Confederation Cup pre-group stage final leg game against Enugu Rangers of Nigeria.
The kickoff time has been adjusted by two-and-a-half hours due to the Nigerian champions 24 hour delay in their arrival for the match at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
Rangers players refused to board the plane on Thursday after going on strike  at Enugu Airport over unpaid dues dating back to February that were eventually paid later in the day.
Zesco media officer Katebe Chengo said Rangers finally left Nigeria on Friday and will only arrive 30 minutes before the earlier scheduled kickoff time on Saturday.
“This serves to inform the media, stakeholders and fans that kickoff time for the 2nd leg of the pre-group stage round against Rangers International of Nigeria has been moved from 15:00 hours to 17:30 hours tomorrow Saturday,15th April,2017,” Chengo said yesterday.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances Rangers missed their flight from Enugu to Addis Ababa yesterday (Thursday).
“The team is scheduled to fly to Ndola and will land at Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport at 14:20 hours.”
Zesco and Rangers are level at 2-2 from the first leg match played on April 9 in Enugu.
