Kitwe Playing Fields (KPF) stunned defending champions Arrows to open a six point lead at the summit of the 2017 Zambia Rugby Union League table.

KPF, who are making their second season back after 18 years in the doldrums, shocked Arrows 10-6 in Kitwe on Saturday to stay in the driving seat for a second successive week.

Kaluba Chilundami placed a try that was converted by Benaya Mukwamba while Fine Chikamba added a penalty goal.

Arrows six points came of the boot of Terry Kaushiku who kicked two penalties.

KPK rise to 22 points from five games played while Arrow stay second with a match in hand on 16 points.

Eagles are third on 15 points despite losing 11-13 at home in Kabwe to unbeaten Diggers who are just behind them in 4th place on 13 points.

Diggers have two games in hand after their away victory.
