Zambia enter camp this Sunday in Lusaka ahead of their forthcoming friendly games against Ethiopia and Gabon in preparation for COSAFA Tournament.

Zambia will play Ethiopia and Gabon away on May 27 and June 3 respectively.

Coach Wedson Nyrenda will use only domestic league players for the friendlies with focus on Zambia’s July engagements in the 2017 COSAFA Cup tournament, to be hosted by South Africa, and the 2018 CHAN first round qualifier against Swaziland.

Nyirenda will also be without his Zesco United and Zanaco players due to their CAF Confederation cup and CAF Champions League engagements respectively.

Zambia will fly to Ndola after facing Gabon in Libreville on June 4 ahead of their June 10 date against Mozambique there in their first 2019 AFCON Group K qualifier at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
