Full time: Zambia 4-2 Iran

Zambia has come from 2 nil down to lead Iran by 4 goals to two in the Under-20 FIFA world Cup game against Iran.

Iran’s Shekari was gifted an early goal in the first half and Zambia failed to get an equalizer despite several attempts on target.

Shekari doubled in the 47th minute through a penalty kick.

Fashion Sakala came closest to levelling the scoreline in the 45th minute but his header rattled against the upright to deny the junior Chipolopolo an opener.

It was in the 54th minute that Sakala netted a volley to call one back.

Mwepu levelled about four minutes later.

Emmanuel Banda joined the scoring band to make it 3-2 in the 65th minute before Patson Daka placed three points beyond Iran’s reach.
