Midfielder Emmanuel Banda’s first competitive return to action after two-month layoff in Belgium kicked off the European-based wrap last weekend.

On Saturday, Banda came on in the 90th minute for Zimbabwean striker Knowledge Musona in KV Oostende’s 1-0 home win over Eupen.

The match was Banda’s first game back for Oostende since September 20 when he was sidelined owing to an injury.

Oostende are 12th while Eupen are bottom in 16th place.

In Austria, midfielder Enock Mwepu played the full 90 minutes in Liefering’s 5-0 away win over Kapfenberg in a match he did not score but contributed an assist.

Liefering are 5th after their win over their 7th placed hosts in Friday’s Austrian 2nd division date.

On Sunday, Patson Daka was on the bench in leaders RB Salzburg’s 3-2 away win over old foes Rapid Vienna who are third on the log.

And on Saturday in the Russian 2nd division, striker Fashion Sakala scored Spartak Moscow 2’s lone goal in their 1-1 away draw against Zenit St Petersburg.

Fashion opened scores in the 9th minute to score his 8th goal of the season from 19 appearances for the 2nd division club.

He was later substituted in the 82nd minute.
