THE Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) Council has voted unanimously to reschedule the football calendar for both the MTN Super League and the National League, from the current August to May, to a March to November timetable. Meanwhile, the FAZ Council has also elected to increase the number of teams in the league from 18 to 20, which also means two of the initial four relegation-headed sides will subsequently benefit from the decision. The decision was made during the FAZ Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Ndola yesterday.
