THE Football Association of Zambia Executive Committee has appointed seasoned administrator Charles Chakatazya as its new General Secretary, tasking the former Nkana chief executive officer with leading the day-to-day operations at Football House. Chakatazya replaces Machacha Shepande, who mutually parted ways with FAZ to take up an international posting. In a similar decision, the FAZ Executive Committee confirmed Iva Lengwe as Deputy General Secretary after he served in an acting capacity.
