A 64-YEAR-OLD Mtendere East woman has dragged her neighbour to court, demanding that she tell her where she caught her practising witchcraft and where she saw grey hair on her buttocks. Loveness Banda has sued 35-year-old Iyima Boom for defamation of character, accusing her of repeatedly calling her a witch and insulting her. In her statement to the Chelstone Local Court, Loveness said she was repeatedly insulted by her neighbour, Boom, who accused her of being a witch and bewitching her children. “I’m a businesswoman; I sell charcoal. Iyima is my neighbour, but what surprises me is that she doesn’t talk to me. We just look at each other like that. What surprises me is the way she insults me....
