Roan PF rebel member of parliament Chishimba Kambwili has arrived at Ndola Central Police for questioning.
Yesterday, the former minister of information vowed not to obey the call out, saying the Copperbelt Police Commissioner Charity Katanga had summoned him over stupid issues. He added that: “Tell Katanga, if she is confused, nshili mwaume wakunyelako amasushi ine”.
Take a listen:
But Kambwili arrived at Ndola Police at around 10:30 hours in the company of his lawyer Christopher Mundia.
Others that have appeared with Kambwili are National Union of Miners and Allied Workers president Adam Zulu , former PF IPS Charles Mulenga, Kasonde Dolphin, who is former PF constituency chairman in Roan and his driver Alex.
Those who turned up to offer solidarity include his brother Mutale Kambwili, NDC chairperson for security Menyani Zulu and other senior NDC officials.
Meanwhile, Police are keeping vigil at the premises and surrounding areas.
They have blocked all NDC supporters and the general public from accessing the department of passports which is next to the division headquarters.
Two NDC members have been arrested in the process.
