THE Department of Immigration has detained 52 suspected prohibited immigrants who were recently nabbed during a clean-up operation conducted in Kasumbalesa. Meanwhile, Department of Immigration public relations officer Namati Nshinka has revealed that the department intends to remove 51 prohibited immigrants in Ndola from the country. In a statement, Thursday, Nshinka said the Department initially rounded up 63 suspected prohibited immigrants but 11 were released upon production of refugee certificates and valid mobility passes.
