MINISTER of Transport and Logistics Frank Tayali says if bus fares are not adjusted after an increase in petroleum products, transport operators will be suffocated. Commenting on the recent increase in bus fares, Tuesday, Tayali argued that operators would fail to offer services if bus fares were not hiked whenever there was an increase in petroleum products. “If people have understood, the pricing mechanism is that we want to be fair to the consumer.
