ACTIONAID Zambia country director Nalucha Ziba has called for a change in the county’s justice system so that it can adhere to human rights standards. In a statement, Ziba observed that the procedural process for individuals accused of murder takes long and most are deprived of their right to liberty. “ActionAid Zambia understands that murder cases in Zambia, and other cases such as treason and other felonies face a lot of procedural delays which make it difficult to dispose them expeditiously.
