THE Zambia Medicines and Medical Supplies Agency (ZAMMSA) says the cancellation of a tender for the supply and delivery of additional essential medicines and medical supplies is nothing unusual, observing that nowadays, anything being done is subject to scrutiny. And the Agency says it currently doesn’t owe any drug suppliers because it only offers contracts against available resources. In a letter dated September 13, 2022, ZAMMSA Director General Billy Mweetwa notified the bidders about the cancellation of the tender and informed them that it would be re-advertised through the Open National Bidding (ONB) via the e-GP system. “Notification for cancellation of tender no.
