MINISTER of Education Douglas Syakalima says a total of 7,471 out of the 20,980 candidates that sat for five or more subjects, obtained General Certificate of Education, which is equivalent to a School Certificate. And Syakalima has revealed that the Examinations Council of Zambia has withheld results for some candidates involved in cases of suspected examination malpractices.
