POLICE spokesperson Rae Hamoonga says as things stand, crime levels in the country are within manageable levels. Speaking on Diamond TV, Monday, Hamoonga said the police had gone into full swing to ensure that criminals who were terrorising residents in various townships were apprehended. “As things stand, the crime levels are within manageable levels and as police, we have continued to ensure that we bring them to acceptable levels where members of the public are able to do their business freely without intimidation from anybody. We did receive some complaints that were targeting at particular types of crimes, especially here in Lusaka where we had this crime [which] was emerging where members of the public were complaining of these criminals...
