POLICE have arrested Kaizer Zulu for another offence of Conversion not Amounting to Theft in relation to a Toyota Land Cruiser VX, worth K955,000, assigned to him while serving at State House. Police have disclosed that the vehicle was concealed after Zulu, who is former president Edgar Lungu’s former political advisor, left office and was only recovered on March 25, 2022. Meanwhile, deputy police public relations officer Danny Mwale confirmed that Zulu was still in police custody by press time. Zulu has been in detention for over 72 hours, with his lawyer earlier lamenting that police had refused to grant him bond, hence they wanted to apply for bail in court.
