MMD leader Dr Nevers Mumba has advised ministers and government officials to bring themselves forward for investigations in instances where corruption allegations are leveled against them. Commenting on the recent development in neighbouring Malawi where the country’s Vice-President was arrested for corruption, Mumba recalled how he was also once accused of corruption. “I know that it is a very very humiliating thing to the Vice President in that country but on the other hand, if and when the Vice-President is cleared and acquitted, it puts him in a very high moral position.
