AUDITOR General Dr Dick Sichembe’s lawyer says his client is calm and collected following his arrest, but wonders how the development will affect his office going forward. James Mataliro says his client has denied all corruption charges levelled against him. Yesterday, the Anti-Corruption Commission arrested and charged Dr Sichembe for corrupt practices involving over K1 million. The commission said Dr Sichembe, whilst serving in his capacity as Accountant General and subsequently, as Auditor General, received an accumulated sum of K1,160, 639.57 in allowances for fictitious activities.
