LUMEZI Independent member of parliament Munir Zulu says those who have reported him to the police for tribal remarks and hate speech are “cheap, petty and dull”. Last week after Zulu was released from detention, he said the people of Lumezi village were more intelligent than the people of Bweengwa village. Following these remarks, Beautiful Gates Foundation Executive Director Bill Kapinga reported Zulu to the Zambia Police for publicly uttering tribal remarks and hate speech, contrary to the laws of Zambia.
