THE ALLIANCE for Community Action (ACA) says it will write to the Local Government Service Commission seeking to find out the more details regarding dismissals in local authorities which are as result of fraud and theft. Last month, Local Government Service Commission Chairperson Ackson Sejani said the Commission fires 10 people every month because of fraud and theft. Speaking on the sidelines of the just ended Chapter One Foundation workshop on human rights, ACA programmes manager Jimmy Maliseni said there was need for the Commission to be specific about the positions held by those being dismissed. “I think we are even writing to the Local Government Service Commission to find out.
