THE Independent Broadcasting Authority (IBA) summoned KBN TV Management to a virtue meeting for breaching regulations by allowing opposition political party leaders to cast news on Fridays. The meeting could however not take place on Tuesday as KBN lawyers requested to respond to IBA’s arguments in writing before the meeting which has been rescheduled for Monday. But KBN Television Chief Executive Officer Kennedy Mambwe says his institution incorporated opposition political party leaders as newscasters in order to make the institution stand out and increase its viewership.
