THE Transparency International (TI) Board has appointed the organisation’s vice chairperson Rueben Lifuka as the International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC) Council Chair, for a five-year term. In a letter of appointment addressed to Lifuka, TI Chair Delia Ferreira Rubio said she had no doubt that the IACC Council would benefit from Lifuka’s leadership and thoughtful guidance in the coming years. “It is with great pleasure that I inform you that the Board of Directors of Transparency International, in its meeting of 8th August, unanimously deliberated your appointment as the new Chair of the International Anti-Corruption Conference Council (IACC Council), for a five-year term.
