FORMER national guidance and religious affairs minister Godfridah Sumaili has urged President Hakainde Hichilema to grace the national day of prayer, fasting, repentance and reconciliation slated for today. Speaking when she featured on Radio Phoenix’s “Let the People Talk” programme yesterday, Sumaili said the national day of prayer should not be politicised. “The 18th of October, every year, God has given us an opportunity to come together as a people regardless of our political affiliation, regardless of our religious denomination.
