UNIVERSITY of Zambia political historian Professor Bizeck Phiri says political leaders need to be humble and find other ways of communicating with people, not just through rallies. Recently, various opposition political party leaders have lamented that there is a shrinking democratic space in the country, citing incidences where police have denied them permits to hold rallies.
