THE Anti-Corruption Commission yesterday raided former minister Stanely Kakubo’s house in search of various items. The Commission has also ordered him to appear for interrogations at the ACC head office in Lusaka this week. This comes barely two days after the former minister resigned following a suspicious financial transaction in which he was involved with the Chinese. ACC officers, armed with a search warrant arrived at Kakubo’s house around 10:00 hours and only left around 16:00 hours in the afternoon. Witness tell News Diggers that the ACC officers beat up the gardener at the former minister’s house as they surrounded the premises for a search. The search warrant showed that the officers were looking for evidence of suspected corrupt activities....
